The Democratic controlled House of Representatives on Wednesday approved a $1.9 trillion version of the stimulus bill passed in the Senate. It helped make a way for Joe Biden to sign his first major legislative initiative in a few days. The bill will extend COVID-19 unemployment benefits.

Republican senators criticized the Democratic party on the issue of “dark money”. Democrats have no issue with dark money unless the funds go towards the conservatives. “Dark money” describes the funding that's received by groups that don’t disclose the donor information.

The democrats have a coronavirus relief package that's worth $60 billion. One takes away the deductions for publicly traded companies that will pay the top employees $1 million. Lawmakers are planning to give final approval to the plan on Wednesday.
